The 'WHY' behind OUR PURPOSE (a longer read)
LIBERTY defined: The condition of being FREE from bondage, servitude & oppression. The FREEDOM to EXPRESS ones thoughts, personality & beliefs. Freedom to think, believe & experience oneself & life in a positive way that brings the experience of GOODNESS & LOVE.
You might wonder why we even started a company with such cool wares. Well, we do love cool things, it's true. Yet, our real passion lies in the 'WHY'.-We want YOU to be FREE from mental oppression of any kind, to experience JOY, express your true IDENTITY and look AMAZING while rocking your own Style of Liberty!
We are dedicated to helping those who cannot help themselves, with a portion of each sale supporting those in need. Join us in our mission to provide LOVE and Liberty to the most vulnerable members of our society,CHILDREN and ANIMALS. They deserve our LOVE!

As the owner of Liberty Wares, I want you to know that I've made nearly every foolish mistake imaginable in life. I'm quite serious. My story would bode well in the gossip column of People Magazine. And yet, thankfully, I was led through my failures to discover my true self and I am ever learning to walk in more and more victory! Which at Liberty Wares, we call our "Style of Liberty".I truly believe that our team's successes born from failures will lead to VICTORIES in your life!!

Why the name Liberty Wares?
A Few Short Design Meanings (vibes)
The Breaking Free lion was the very first lion I attempted. I din't think I could paint one but my sweet nephew loves lions and I love him so I found myself on my first atempt.
Honestly, the photo I took of my lion seemed to look better than what I'd painted, it doesn't matter though. What matters is I had BREAKTHROUGH! I took a risk, faced the idea of failure and embraced the love of my nephew with each stroke.
The victory I felt was huge! I felt so encouraged knowing I could paint a lion and was even inspired to paint a second one! I also began to trust myself more in that moment too. To trust that my desire to paint was backed up with my abilty to learn. All I needed to do is try!
I want YOU to FEEL INSPIRED to break into new things or out of old things when you rock the BREAKING FREE line! To feel empowered to trust yourself and embrace your your strengths and your weaknesses. It's your time to take back the keys to your life! May the right doors unlock before you!
For those that already walk in breakthrough freedom, this shirt can open a converstion so you can encourage others who need what you carry.
What do you want to break free of or break into?
BREAKTHROUGH VIBES!
The ROAR! Lion design started with an acylic painting of a lion. It was my second try at at a lion after my breakthrough with the 'Breaking Free' lion. I was still pretty timid as I began to paint but with each stroke I became more and more confident and I loved how that felt!
After experincing lots of critcal voices(mine being the loudest), it was a huge moment for me as I realized I actually liked my own work! It didn't matter that my art teacher had told me I had no talent or that it wasn't 'perfect'. It was mine; an outwards expression of all the colors I had hidden on the inside finally displayed in a tangible canvas!
This is how the title 'ROAR!' came in, my voice had started to come forth and I felt emboldened to share it regardless of any of my perceived past failures. All of a sudden, so many things even beyond painting, began to feel possible for me and I was elated!
This is how I want YOU to FEEL when you wear any of the ROAR! line: Emboldened, encouraged, heard (since your voice matters) and open to the idea that even seemingly impossible things can be possible!
ROAR! POWER
The 'Fierce Lion' was a bit down the road in my painting journey, that's not to say it's painted to perfection but it was painting in joy! And to me, I'd now take joy over perfection any day!
I was in a mood to play when I started this sketch, I quickly got into a right brain flow and was making strokes boldy and with confidence. (When I get stuck in 'perfectionism', the process of painting is tedious, laborsome and honestly no fun. Especially since my idea of 'perfect' is not something I ever achieve any way. ) So this lion was yet another level for me due to the way I felt as I painted, I was excited!
When you wear any of the 'Fierce' line, my desire is that you run with the fun, excitement and bold confidence I felt that day I created this lion! I want you to experience yourself and everything you do in a new light. Maybe you aren't overcomming perfectionism like me but the Fierce vibe of Freedom resides for you in this line to apply however you like.
