UNITE STORY
Growing up, I was divided against myself. I hated parts of me that I deemed 'ugly'. Once I began to love myself, I became more United within and experienced a deeper joy and freedom.
I have a crazy passion for discovering our true identies and gaining as much freedom as we can. I also have a deep love for our nation that's been in me since I was a little girl. I feel incredibly blessed to live in a Nation with more freedoms and opportunities than any other. She is not perfect but then again, neither am I.
When I painted this flag, I thought about my hopes and dreams for all of us. I even wrote them on the canvas as I painted. I hope you love this original art piece designed to INSPIRE.
As an individual, when I was divided, I was at war against myself by having conflicting thoughts and beliefs about who I was are at the core. I literally worked against my own best good.
How much more a nation?
