When I painted this Unite flag, I was dreaming about healing division within ourselves, loving all of our parts-even the ones we perceive as 'ugly'(as individuals and as a nation). I literally wrote my hopes for us all over the design. Anything divided crumbles, we are stronger together. This design has goodness woven within each brush stoke it to inspire all of us to love ourselves and others even while remaining strong in our individual convictions.
